Dear Chris et al,
When Ryan Jackson played at the inaugural recital of the renovated Casavant at Trinity United, Gravenhurst,
he mentioned to me that he had withdrawn from the Competition. The doctoral programme has many demands on his time. It is unfortunate as he had been preparing for the Competition during the summer. However, he was wise enough to know that it would be too much to attempt the Competition. I hope that Jonathan does well in Round 2.
