Thanks for posting the message about WNCW, John!

Here is an update on what is going on with our station: right now
everything is in the hand of the Isothermal Community College Board
of Trustees. The college is telling us that they have no intention of
selling the license to the religious station that waved all that cash
in front of them. They're saying that they want a few changes in
management style and want more news on air ... we'll see.

Most of us are optimistic about the future of WNCW, but the study
they conducted is yet to come out (should be sometime soon,
definitely this month). Anyone with exposure to the station wouldn't
have to conduct such a study into the worthiness of 88.7, but that's
a large part of the problem. The college has never related very well
to the radio station, and they have let a small group of station-
bashers poison their minds into questioning our existence there.
