Hey kidz,
I guess I haven't posted any news in quite a while, so here's some
info for you. We have several new items available in our catalog
that are Silber related, but not Silber releases. We now Stock
Aarktica's Blissout album as well as several releases from
Rollerball. So yeah there you go, buy stuff from us.
Almost everybody involved with Silber is currently in the studio
working on material to most likely come out early next year. Here's
the info we have:
Clang Quartet is working on a recording to accompany the silent film
Lost World.
Remora is working on an EP & an album (both as of yet untitled) &
there is a probably going to be a limited edition release of a live
performance. The recordings are complete, track selection is under
way as well as a couple of video shoots.
Small Life Form is always working on so many ideas, but the total
fruition will probably be late next year. Some Small Life Form
tracks are being used in the Zombie Kisses movie Luxuries (most
notably the trailer).
Kobi has delivered us the masters for a new record. Fantastic as
always.
If Thousands is working on another long-form album length piece for
us. The recording process is set to complete in November.
Aarktica just filmed a video & have a new disc coming out early next
year on Darla & they're already starting a follow up.
Jamie Barnes claims to have his new album ready, but he won't even
let us here it until he's sure it's finished. Such a perfectionist.
Tara VanFlower is working on a new record. Great for fans of the
crazy girl singer school (Jarboe, Diamanda Galas).
Twelve is recording their new record. Also Chris's other band Six by
Seven has a new disc out on Saturday Night Sunday Morning. We should
be picking up a few copies to sell pretty soon.
Rollerball is recording for a disc that will probably be out in
April. they're quickly turning into our most prolific band.
Vlor's collaborative work is well underway. The artists currently
involved ar Mike VanPortfleet, Brian John Mitchell, Jessica Bailiff,
Nathan Amundson, Paolo Messere, Jon DeRosa, & Jamie Barnes. This
should make it out next summer, but sometime before that will be a
limited release of some other materials that have never been heard
from the primitive roots.
Peter Aldrich is working on his record. He's always working & we
can't keep up with him. Visit www.peter-aldrich.com for his latest
songs, videos, & photos.
Mike VanPortfleet is of course working on new material again. We're
really happy to provide him with a home that has helped him re-find
his musical callings.
I'm sure I'm forgetting some of what is going on. We're going to
start having free digital versions of some of the out of print
portions of our catalog fairly soon. We'll let you know when things
go up.
I heard a quote today talking about how the last time religious
people voted, they freed Barabus. I've always felt tribal anarchism
is the only governmental structure that properly parallels to
Christian ideas or really pretty much any good moral ideas. That's
all of our political stand about anything. Thanks for your time &
support....
