All I can say is WOW! The whole night after, and even
two days later, I think back on the show and I'm SO
HAPPY! It was the greatest silverchair show I've ever
been too. It really makes me tempted to fly across the
country to see them in LA! Too bad it would cost
a(nother) small fortune. =( Driving up from Atlanta
and buying tickets off of Ebay, was already too much -
but well, well worth it!!!!!!
I met some cool ppl there. As soon as we got in line
for the show at 4:30, a guy half-way up the line
yelled "Hey! Donnie Darko!" at us. My b/f was wearing
a DD shirt. The guy standing next to me during the
show was from Jupiter, FL, and pretty cool. Then,
during the show, this girl behind us asked me to take
pictures for her. Since she was my height (like 5'1)
and my b/f is a foot taller, he let her stand in front
of him. We were right on the edge of the balcony on
the right side and had a great view. The girl was
really cool too! When Daniel leaned over and touched
the hands of the ppl in the crowd, she turned to me
and said: "He's gonna go sanitize his hands after
this." And I had been thinking the exact same thing.
=)
Anyone else notice Sarah McCloud (I think that's her
name), Chris' g/f, and Ben's g/f sitting in the
reserved area of the balcony on the left side? I was
keeping an eye out for Miss Imbrulia, but didn't see
her. I'm guessing since reportedly Daniel was saying
he needed love at the first show, she didn't come to
NYC. =)
What an awesome show. Shouts out too all you cool
folks I met! I just wish I could have gone to both
shows! Monday night, sitting in my hotel 2 miles from
the venue, I was seriously bummed. But Tuesday made up
for it completely.
