Billy Lee Riley has had a really bad heart attack.  He was in a Little
Rock hospital for a hip operation, and had the attack while he was
there.  He had five arteries blocked, four at 97% blockage, and one a
little less.  After the heart operation, fluid began to build up in his
chest cavity, and a blood clot developed, so they had to open him up
again and fix that.  Right now, he is still asleep, but everything is
stable.  The doctors say after the next 24 hours, they'll know more,
but if nothing else happens, and he remains stable, he will probably be
around awhile longer.

1. I (Ravenna Black) have a room booked at the >Rio, and I'm lookin'
for roomies and/or couch crashers who wanna share. I've got one
female roomie (Dale Rio from Shimmy magazine, AKA Black Dahlia in
roller derby land) who I can share a bed with, but she's not coming
in until Fri. and I have the room booked from Wed - Sun. - so couples
or guys or whatever is fine too, as long as they're vouched-for, sane
people. We will have two double beds and a couch, so pass it on

Cindy Funkhouser started the monthly art event in downtown Las Vegas
known as `First Friday'.  The event has benefited many local artists,
musicians, and other creative types.  There is a viable art scene in
Las Vegas thanks to Cindy and now she needs help.  Cindy has been
battling cancer for several months and her medical bills have become
huge.  On February 28th there will be a benefit for Cindy at the Double
Down Saloon with a live art auction.  If you can't attend please donate

we are about one more session away from finishing our first cd on wild
records. We just got back from LA today. We did one song in spanish
and plan on doing another for the release. The release is set for
April and the CD release party will be the Pre-Viva show which i
believe will be at the Icehouse this year. Dont forget we are playing

This Saturday is the Tiger Army show at the House of Blues. I found
