Re: [skeeter] Cold Case 1963

THAT WAS VERY GOOD ABOUT 63.  I WAS 5 THEN BUT OUR LITTLE TOWN HAD NO KINDERGARTEN.   I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THE BAD DAY WHEN PRESIDENT KENNEDY WAS ASSASSINATED.

MY COUSINS WIFE PASSED AWAY THIS LAST THANKSGIVING DAY.  SHIRLEY REALLY LOOKED LIKE SKEETER EXCEPT SHE HAD SHORT HAIR.   SHE ALSO DIED OF CANCER.   I USED TO TELL HER SHE LOOKED LIKE SKEETER AND SHE WOULD LAUGH ABOUT THAT.

IN 1963 SKEETER ALSO BROUGHT COUNTRY MUSIC TO THE BEACHES.  WHO WOULD EVER THINK  KENTUCKY OR TENNESSEE CONNECTING WITH THE BEACH BUT HER AND CAROL KING CONNECTED THE TWO.  NOW WE SEE ALLOT OF THE COUNTRY ARTISTS PERFORMING ON THE BEACH.
LONG LIVE THE MEMORY OF SKEETER..

K.C.

Doug, although I feel Ralph is deserving of a HOF placement, I truly believe Skeeter should have been in there years ago. I would love to see Skeeter's life...

Skeeter did a whole lot for country music, like Patsy Cline, she brought people to country music that didn't normally buy or listen to country music. I feel...

The story was a cross between "Boys Don't Cry" and "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest"..... The best part really was seeing David Selby (Quintin from "Dark...
