Re: [skeeter] Opry Video Classics set

Was Skeeter in "Road To Nashville"? What did she sing? Randy.

These DVDs (an 8 boxed set collection) have recently been mentioned
here but thought I would add there is now a half-hour infomercial for
the DVDS that you might find airing in late night hour spots on cable.

This set is very big news for Skeeter fans - there are THREE
performances by Skeeter on the set - more than any other female other
than Loretta, Dolly, and Tammy - she sings "Let it Be Me" with Bobby
Bare on the Duets collection, "The End of the World" on the Country
Queens collection, and "I Forgot More Than You'll Ever Know" on the
Number Ones collection. Of note Skeeter is PICTURED on the box to the
last set (each set has three pics on the cover of stars featured on
the set.) I haven't got the set yet and my only quibble is a tiny
number of the performances appear to be from the 1967 movie ROAD TO
NASHVILLE which is easily obtainable quite cheap on DVD.
