VA

Hey all,

I finally picked up Slainte Mhath's VA cd yesterday. Still getting
used to it...I find it quite different from the first album; it's
more electric and has more pop rhythms. There certainly are some
catchy tunes on it though. And I have to laugh at the last
track "Attack of the Flying Slugs." I spent a couple of weeks out on
Canada's West Coast this past summer. The island we were on was
beautiful, but when it rained, out came dozens and dozens of
sliiiiiimy slugs. I am scared to think of what it would have been
like if they could fly!

Anyway, sort of a curiosity question. I noticed that SM plays tunes
by John Saich and Donal Lunny, and I'm wondering if any of the band
members are fans of Capercaillie. (I am!)

Later
Triona
