hello you!

first up, a few reserves:

HALO PERFECTO LP = graeme cunningham, richard (don't know your
surname), mike parle, tom sloan : £5
KOSSABONE RED LP = george h : £3
CALVARY 7" = steve carlin, jon rrr : £2.50
SCIENCE OF YABRA 12" = steve carlin : £5
I WOULD SET MYSELF ON FIRE FOR YOU - matt k, richard (?), pete j :
£5.50 (I KNOW MORE OF YOU WANTED THIS, I HAVE 4 MORE COPIES COMING)

phil rodriguez - i have your dodgy art / noise nonsense or whatever it
is ;-) : £24.50 is the damage

cool cool.

i have a lot of stuff in, though many of it is restocks. i can get
more in of a few of these hopefully, as most of the brand new stuff i
only have limited copies of because i enjoyed so much of it that i am
keeping things for myself. ah well.

have a browse, see what's what. i've reduced the prices on some old
stuff again. give me an e-mail if you want something! i have much more
on the way from no idea, nova (may be the last time - nova is now a
full-time organisation that pays taxes which makes getting the records
almost too expensive, nikita has been super helpful in getting them as
low as possible and as ever i will sell everything for the price that
i paid for it, but i am not sure how much longer he can do this), and
more from stickfigure plus a few one offs here and there.

take care,

andy x

_______________________________
other men my age - imaginadium cdep - 5 song ep from these ex-harriet
the spy / new terror class / armstrongs secret nine fellows. new-wave

because i am lazy. (3 copies, £4)
_______________________________
jiyuna - s/t cd - the case is screen printed, and the inlay box for
this cd is a piece of wood. EMO! musically they are screamo. harsh
vocals. twinkly bits. nothing out of the ordinary that you don't have
500 times already, but dude, it has a cardboard box with a bit of
wood! heh. (3 copies, £5.50)
_______________________________
amortifera - musician / actress 7" - two long songs from a californian

2 songs from each band. (6 copies, £2.75)
_______________________________

screamo / metal hardcore stuff. scary. rise from ruin was on that
split with spirit of versailles if you remember (2 copies, £3)

wrap. on day after records. (1 copy, £5)
_______________________________
rob crow - my room is a mess cd - 18 songs of solo material from this
3 mile pilot / pinback dude. you know if you want it. (2 copies, £8)
_______________________________
toys that kill - control the sun 12" - i think this band is ex-FYP?
god knows, anyway, this is pretty different to what i normally get in.
i guess it is kinda edgey rock music like rocket from the crypt but a
bit poppier! very difficult to explain. some songs are more rock, and
some are more melodic. clear gold/yellow vinyl with a picture of a cat
in a spacesuit on the label on the b-side. rockage for someone who
likes rock. (2 copies, £8)
_______________________________
infidel? castro! / friendly bears - split 12" - cool names! this is a
split 12" on rice control (rachel, amalgamation...). infidel? castro!

that is infidel? castro! friendly bears is more ear friendly with some
rocking math rocking. bring your calculator. it is jazzy and makes me
think of that leeds band diesel vs steam. both sides of this record

puts out, you will like this band. (4 copies, £4)
_______________________________
red 40 - discography cd - 17 bloody tracks on here! they had a song on
"we've lost beauty", emo fiends. not that they are emo in the musical
sense, but red 40 play emotional punk rock that fits well with
jawbreaker. the vocals make me think of the guy from that awesome
country band lucero. and i've just looked on google and it is the same
guy, crazy. this cd really rocks. if you like melodic punk you should
get this. (2 copies, £4.50)
_______________________________

skate punk rock for you to break your nose to. FUN. (1 copies, £6.50)
_______________________________
the south - sick pits bro sesh 7" - 4 more songs of powerful screamy
hardcore from the south. sounds a bit harsher than their lp, it's more
thrashy like palatka. i've tried a few of the copies of this and the
first track on the b-side seems to skip pretty bad on all copies. bad
pressing i guess. the rest of it is fine though. (1 copies, £2.25)
_______________________________
blame game / zann - blame game is jazzy and chaotic hardcore / emo
from the US that has a Gravity flavour and is like Off Minor crossed
with the Vida Blue. Zann is pummelling metal / hardcore from europe
that fans of that apocalyptic german metal from the mid 90's will dig.
i've only sold one of these so far, wake up! (£7, 4 copies)

ravelin 7 - circle is our way cd - i think these guys are from the
czech repulbic! more hard to describe stuff, i have so much hard to
describe stuff in this week. they've catchy, keyboards. prominent
basslines and rocking guitars with urgent vocals. who'd have thought
they sassed in the czech republic? (1 copies, REDUCED: £4.00)

buys a bunch of stuff from me. enthusiastic stuff focusing on music
with reviews and interviews of ignition label / distro, slingshot
round the moon and a couple of others. (50p, 1 copies)
_______________________________
oliver twist - new tricks LP - quirky German indie rock, danceable but
offbeat. mixes faster Modest Mouse with other stuff. X-Mist says:
"while on their previous releases comparisons to CHISEL and/or ROBOCOP
KRAUS were evident, on this great new record they sound more like a
young, fresh and non-predictable version of bands like LIFTER PULLER
or LES SAVY FAV!" (1 copies, REDUCED: £6)

END NOTES:

* http://mysite.freeserve.com/andy_malcolm/records.html - my 7" sales list
* http://mysite.freeserve.com/andy_malcolm/records2.html - my LP&CD
sales list
* mix cd: for a quid i'll burn you a bunch of mp3's to a playable CDR.
i only have 60 or so mp3's, and they are mostly recent obscure emo /
screamo bands that have not put much out (if anything)
* requests: if there is anything you want on the wholesale list at
stickfigure: http://stickfiguredistro.com/records/wholesale/ - i can
probably get it for you (but be aware - a lot of the stuff listed is
unavailable i have found). give me a shout, but be reasonable, 2 or 3
things a person is best, and if you want to make requests i'd prefer
that also you buy a bunch of stuff that is in stock too otherwise it's
not fair on me :)
