rebar / the Raymond brakes – split 7" : they Raymond brake plays a
twinkly/mathy mid-west style indie rock song like giants chair mixed
with sunny day. Cool! They appear to have another 7" that I will try
and get hold of. The other side is kind of weird indie rock that
plods along then explodes at the end. I wasn't into it. The rebar
side was apparently recorded in 1994. (1 copy, £2)
_______________________________
gunmen & flightpaths – songs named after states 7" : 3 tracks of
spirited and energetic screamo type musings. Good. (1 copies, £2.50)

punking from both bands here (1 copy, £2)

your wall with! (2 copies, £6)

one am radio / tracy shedd – split cd : two more songs each. More
niceness! Tracy shedd reminds me of ida (2 copies, £3.50)
_______________________________
step softly ghost / dawntreader – split 7" : step softly makes me
think of a melodic yaphet kotto with singing, fantastic. Dawntreader
is screamo (1 copy, £2.50)
_______________________________
rockets & blue lights 10" : back in once more. fantastic – one of
2003's best. Melodic indie/emo, for fans of spy vs spy, braid, and
other good uns! (2 copies, £6)
______________________________________________________________
inwoods – 7" : 7 songs of DIY hardcore on hot sauce records. Kinda
early 80's sounding I think. Reminiscent of older ebullition stuff
in places (3 copies, £2)

textbook traitors / rats into robots split 7" – anger packed split
7" of destructive screamo comparable to orchid. Rats is ex-to dream
of autumn and carries on their spirit (3 copies, £2.50)
_______________________________
the close – it's a secret to everybody cd : good solid melodic indie
rock with a built to spill flavour to it. On moodswing records. (2

along the lines of something like iron and wine (1 copy, £5)

hardcore from these ex-spirit assembly / fields lay fallow dudes (1
copies, £3)
_______________________________
the letters organize - everybody goes yeah...bash! cd : 8 tracks
crammed on to this. the letters organize are from atlanta and do you
some chaotic screamy hardcore with breaks and melodic bits. a bit
like the assistant in places (1 copies, £3.50)
_______________________________
other men my age - imaginadium cdep - 5 song ep from these ex-
harriet the spy / new terror class / armstrongs secret nine fellows.
new-wave / keyboard stuff. i may as well mention joy division, but

these chaotic, metallic, screamy hardcore noisy folks. blue vinyl.
(1 copies, £5.50 - REDUCED)
_______________________________
friends forever - killball - 12" - ridiculous new wave nonsense.
this is like 2 or 3 people who live in a van and just drive around
and play outside other peoples shows. pink vinyl, load records -

denver broncos. BOO! go eagles! (1 copies, £6 - REDUCED)
_______________________________
semionaside / the host sepia + nimbuscloud - smart electronica split
12", the host sepia features tim from soon the darkness! no screamo

bit more melodic. very cool! (2 copies, REDUCED: £2)

END NOTES:

* mix cd: send me a cdr and i'll burn you a bunch of mp3's to a
playable
CDR. i only have 60 or so mp3's, and they are mostly recent obscure
emo / screamo bands that have not put much out (if anything)
* requests: if there is anything you want on the wholesale list at
stickfigure: http://stickfiguredistro.com/records/wholesale/ - i can
probably get it for you (but be aware - a lot of the stuff listed is
unavailable i have found). give me a shout, but be reasonable, 2 or
3 things a person is best, and if you want to make requests i'd
prefer that also you buy a bunch of stuff that is in stock too
otherwise it's not fair on me :)
