and so is more stuff. whoop the whoop.

serotonin cd - 'early works'. self explanatory title. early lp i
think this is, plus some extras. just listened to about 30 seconds
of it. would peg it somewhere between ordination of aaron & sunny
day real estate. £7.75. 2 copies

inkwell - by design 7" - absurdly influential emo from mid 90's.
they did the harsh screamo / melodic stuff that was at it's height
about 2 years ago, and they sound kinda like saetia and portrait. i
am pissed i could only get a couple of copies of this, i guess they
were the last ones! £3.25. 2 copies.

rye coalition - zz topless 7" - i thought these guys had given up
ages ago. anyway, they are not playing the stuff like on the he saw
the cat 12", being more a rock and roll band. this would go nicely
with the excelsior cd. red vinyl. £3. (4 copies)

lovesick / emergency split 7" - woot. another 7" you were never
supposed to ever see for the rest of your life. don't you just love
me? don't you? DON'T YOU? :( lovesick sound as good as they always
do, though this is the early style - simple and emo. emergency are
weird. they have a song called robby the robot. kinda sounds like
the lapse crossed with this robot kills! £3.25 (2 copies)

the sound of failure 7" - heavy and punishing screamo. for those
seeking something more obscure than neil perry / joshua fit for
battle, this will be right up your alley. £3 (2 copies)

dance & destory 7" - only one copy (i originally wasn't intending to
keep 1 for myself, but i have as i really like it), sounding chaotic
and screamy with a bit of melody and emo thrown in. your copy will
be #170 of 303. red vinyl. reminds me like of usurp synapse crossed
with early reversal of man. some keyboardage, lots of tracks. £3

excelsior cd - this is awesome!!! i love excelsior, and this is
their best stuff yet. they are total rock, think rye coalition
crossed with classic rock. fast and sassy. very recommended, you
will dance to this when drunk. £6 (2 copies cos nadia pinched one
already)

'new' terror class - debut 7" - you thought this one was long gone
too! kiss my face! members of party of helicopters and harriet the
spy combine for more of the same. damaged rock music, yes, very
good. £3 (2 copies)

STILL IN

Virginia Black Lung 7" - harsh and fast power violence / hardcore.
the songs aren't short but they are angry. more controlled than
combatwoundedveteran but quite chaotic. politically charged with a
message. £3

Ten Volt Shock 7" - cool rock / hc on x-mist records. comes on like
drives like jehu are from DC. tight and energetic, bassy and
danceable. ex-members of Kurt. £3

the gtc 7" - emo spazz attack, screamyscreechy vocals. spirit of
versailles and saetia are references, as are constatine sankathi.
£2.50

orrin de forest / jazzfinger - split 12". orrin is UK screamo, they
remind me of honeywell and makara. bad recording. amazing music.
jazzfinger is sort of instrumental / noise stuff, but not too harsh.
i haven't really listened to their side yet. £6.

ladderback 'introductions to departure' cd - £5.50 - spastic
indie/emo, lots of screaming and mathy rhythms. if braid were nuts.

FUTURE:

should be some x-mist stuff again next week. the wheels keep on
turnin'! as ever, it'll be a surprise [unless you are a really,
really, really special case, or i am drunk when you ask] because i
tend to get surprised when the packages arrived and things are
missing for various reasons and i don't want to promise you records
that i can't then give you. :(

talk to some of you soon then i should think! some of you very soon,
based on previous replies to these mail outs. :)

cheers,

andy.
