Kurt 12" - £6 (4 copies) : spastic rocknroll from this german band.
if you enjoyed that 10 volt shock 7" that i had in, you will more
than likely enjoy this (they share members). elements of jehu and
punk rock...
Pretty Girls Make Graves 12" - £5.50 (5 copies) : european pressing
of this awesome debut EP (4 songs only) from various ex-members of
bands like area51 and death wish kids. this is utterly fantastic,
female fronted punk rock that rocks out like Discount with a rocket
up their collective big bums. class.
xBxRx 7" - £3 (3 copies) : nonsense-wave stuff from this band. as
ever, if you like those noisy keyboard bands that have singers who
wave their hands in the air and go 'nya nya nya' then you will like
this. clear vinyl.

STILL IN:
Ten Volt Shock 7" - cool rock / hc on x-mist records. comes on like
drives like jehu are from DC i guess. tight and energetic, bassy and
danceable. ex-members of Kurt. £3
orrin de forest / jazzfinger - split 12". orrin is UK screamo, they
remind me of honeywell and makara. bad recording. amazing music.
jazzfinger is sort of instrumental / noise stuff, but not too harsh.
i haven't really listened to their side yet. £6.
ladderback 'introductions to departure' cd - £5.50 - spastic
indie/emo, lots of screaming and mathy rhythms. if braid were nuts.
serotonin - the early works cd - first lp plus an early 7", for the
most part it's melodic emo like SDRE, though they have some screamier
stuff too. very good. £7.50
summertime comp cd - £5 : well known comp cd from last year with a
tonne of great bands on (neil perry, pg 99, racebannon, the vida
blue, usurp synapse... and more). oh, and it has a thursday song on,
i know you all love them. they invented screamo i think. actually,
this thursday song rocks. so, erm, i lose all my cred. [surprised
this is still in stock]
Turn Around Norman / Choke the Rivers With Their Dead - split 7"
(2.50) - TAN are like yaphet kotto / shroomunion / roosevelts
inaugural parade. dual male / female shoutscream emo, with political
lyrics. CTRWTD are emo violent and noisy
nine days wonder / no knife split 12" - £7 - no knife do two songs,
the first reminds of a cross between boilermaker and braid, the 2nd
is a brooding rock song like the newer party of helicopters stuff.
quality. nine days wonder are from japan and very braid-ish. on dim
mak. split 12" records rule!
