walkmen : the blizzard of 1986 12" - not my usual stuff! i've just
stuck this on and i am liking it. over to x-mist to describe it:
this band from NYC features 3 ex-members of JONATHAN FIRE EATER (who
had a brilliant LP on CRIPPLED DICK HOT WAX years ago...) - and what
you get to hear is artful and atmospheric modern rock, hard to coin
into a genre, kinda like STEREOLAB, or Brian Eno, or NEW ORDER
maybe? oh well, as you should know TROUBLEMAN stands for quality -
and this is a LIMITED EDITION vinyl-only release! £8.50 (2 copies)

XBXRX / sick lipstick : split 7" - x-mist tells you: features 2 more
XBXRX tracks out of the recording-session with Mr.Quintron & Miss
Pussycat - and on the flipside, it's SICK LIPSTICK from Canada, with
2 ex-members of BLACK CAT #13, continuing the thrashy artcore-punk
that band was known for! £3.25 (2 copies)

infiltration - #18 : £1.25 - latest issue of 'the zine about going
places you're not supposed to go'. i enjoy this one. loads of people
wanted it last time i got some in. hope you're still interested! 1

pikadori cdep : £4.50 - melodic rocking stuff in the vein of earlier
engine down and a bit of braid. tasty!

the hidden chord cd : £1 - this is second hand and a spare copy.
straight up indie/garage on blood of the young with one ex-member of
ordination of aaron. gosh!

sundowner 7" : £3 - swiss emo/screamo that sits well with many mid
90's bands like embassy, amber inn and policy of 3. surprised this
one hasn't peaked many peoples interest. shame! (4 copies)

soon the darkness 7" : £2.75 - london emo/screamo bastards. 1 copy
left. get it before they sell out, just had a good review in the
NME. ha ha!

nikad 12" : £6.50 - croatian screamy emo band doing things fast,
frantically and melodically. mid 90's style like yaphet kotto or a
faster embassy.

coming soon? ooh yes. i would tell you but i would have to kill you.
suffice to say it includes copies of a new lp by one of the best
current emo/screamo bands not called city of caterpillar, and a
split 10" that cool people have been waiting for for ferkin ages.
that should keep you guessing for the 10 days this stuff will take
to get here!
