wow, it's been a few weeks, i'd been waiting for a few things to
come in. now they have. i am still short of a few other bits i was
expecting, but we'll run with what we have :) if you've forgotten or
are new, all prices are postpaid.

ok!

black merinos - s/t 7" : this is harsh, angry hardcore with very
arrrrrrrrgh! vocals. it is ex-in humanity and a few years old. if
you like harsh and angry and punishing hardcore without it being
grind or metal, you will like this i reckon! sexy silver & black
packaging with a goat motif. (£2.50 - 3 copies)

fire next time - cd : some bonza hc featuring such luminaries as
mikey ott (sound virus) and steve hiroyuki (this machine kills / dim
mak). emo and mid paced, kind of sounds like a combo of current,
planes mistaken for stars and shotmaker brought up to date. catchy
and frantic. this is on dim mak, and if you like balls in your emo,
then this has balls. balls i tell you! (£8 - 1 copy)

transistor transistor - cd : spastic sassy hardcore new out on level
plane. kind of a rock influence and sung vocals at times. doing what
the blood bros did by bringing the old san diego sound up to date by
a couple of years and sprinkling in some more screamo influences. no
keyboards = a good thing in this case. (£6.50 - 2 copies)

ordination of aaron - discography cd : uh, you probably need it if
you don't have it. total whiney emo from the mid 90's that spawned a
generation of emo rock bands that ripped off all their and all
boilermakers riffs. i have 3 copies, 1 is second hand cos i got sent
one with beautiful packaging that's much better than the 1 i already
had. heh! brand new: £5.50. 2nd hand: £3. specifiy which, or if you
have no preference. thank you!

nuzzle - junk of myth discography cd : hey if you want that OOA cd
then you have to order this too. it's the rules! nuzzle fit right in
with OOA but i suspect fewer people have heard them. total spazzy
melodic emo, there are some fucking amazing songs on here. they are
now a really awesome downbeat country influenced bands a long the
lines of built to spill, check them out when they were emo bastards!
(£6.50 - 2 copies)

burn collector #12 - oh lordy! new issue and it looks beautiful. a6
sized, nice cover, nice print. i am sure my fellow burian-ites need
no further incentive. (£1.75 - 5 copies)

green zine #11 - stickfigure says : "issue #11 of green zine is a
cool perzine written by c. road's. Excellent artwork as well as
journal style entries – green zine will definitely please fans of
the genre!". has a little music content too. not read it yet! (80p -
2 copies)

change zine #12 - this is a big motherferckin a4 sized newsprint
zine. total music content. far too big for me to make head or tale
of yet. stickfigure says: "after a hiatus of 3 ½+ years, here is the
latest issue of change zine. Patrick's sarcasm has only gotten
better with age as his columns and insights completely cut to the
bone the current problems that hardcore currently possess's"- looks
punk as a bastard, and has a reputation for being very funny.
(£1.75 - 2 copies)

we close our eyes demo cdr - crazy screamo from norwich's favourite
split up sons. we cry our eyes out play raging screamo in the style
of saetia and orchid. this cd is better than you'd ever expect.
sucks they split up. (£1.50 - 4 copies)

black widows - cd - fast hardcore for fans of dead inside and born
against. angry! fast! hardcore! rooooooooooaaaaaaaaar! ex-national
acrobat if you care? i didn't! (£5.50 - 2 copies)

yaphet kotto - 7" - somebody help me here, this is the new 7" by
yaphet kotto and i have 20 fucking copies of the damn thing! ha ha!
what a band. best band i've ever seen! now i am just rubbing it in!
emo as fuck! what's more, it's only £2 postpaid! lordy!

sundowner 7" - awesome swiss emo in the vein of amber inn and policy
of 3 and all that good mid 90's stuff. (1 copy, £3)

portrait 7" - the final release from these emo pansies from georgia.
and what a beauty. muddy recording but an utter cry fest. saetia / i
robot style blubbing. last 1! £2.50

soon the darkness / parade of enemies split 7" - std do dark "gothy"
ha ha screamo stuff and parade of enemies thrash your arse off.
great split, and all in aid of 'anthony nolan bone marrow trust'.
good cause. £2.25 (2 copies)

los asesinos de superficialdad 7" - dutch hardcore with an emo
influence. early recordings, liken it to amber inn mixing it up with
dag nasty and a touch of hail mary! fun. ex-office killer i think i
was told? buy it cos their singer let me sleep on his floor without
even knowing who i was! (£2.75 - 3 copies)

the pine 7" - back in. gorgeous melodic emo from these boys who like
their evergreen. total homage with whiney vocals, and even a similar
name! packaging is more emo than you'll ever be! DIY emo forever!
(£3 - 5 copies)

well, if you can't find something in that little lot when what the
fuck are you doing on this list. ha ha! just kidding. more to come
soon i hope!!!

take care,

andy moo
