ok, i have some more things in here. a lot of new stuff that's
different to the usual fare because i felt like it. please don't be
scared, this is not a change of direction for the distro, more of a
one off because i got most of the stuff from one guy who was very nice
and he had some good records that i wanted to help distro. i hope some
of you will be interested or i am gonna not be able to afford to get
in that usual fare! heh. blackmail :D

thanks and take care,

andy xxx

----------------------------

casino vs japan - via 10" - this is classy whir-click-buzz melodic
electronica, really nice and chilled for those who like stuff like
arovane and bauri. mmm. (1 copy, £7)
_______________________________

the cosmos - sort of. not really. kind of. but badly executed. cd -
total melodic indie / rock, reminds of the mellower cap'n jazz at
times but with in tune vocals, other stuff is more laid back and
tuneful, like chocolate kiss (if you've heard them! ex car-vs driver
band). "what's black and white" is one of the best songs i have heard
all year. this band has a former funeral diner member! don't expect
screamo. this is great and real nice, as is their member corey who
sold these to me at some ridiculously cheap price that i can pass on
to you. (4 copies, £3.25)
_______________________________

gaston - #1 10" - 5 songs of instrumental stuff, sort of post-rocky
cross between aerial m and tortoise. very pleasant! (2 copies, £4)
_______________________________

the cosmos / lorna split 7" - the cosmos song here is pretty different
to their cd! kind of folksie indie, very downbeat and sorta slow. dual
boy+girl vocals i think! and there is no girl on the cd. really nice.
lorna do an extremely spacey and slow number with a variety of
instruments like trumpet, piano and violin, interestin'! (4 copies, £2.50)
_______________________________

anomie - discography cd - 23 songs of awesome french emo. screamy
vocals and lots of politics, comes with huge poster that has
translated lyrics on. good stuff for people who like stuff like
alkatraz, peu etre, rachel etc... very french! (4 copies, £5.25)
_______________________________

jinx 7" - 2 track single on uber thick vinyl, strange kind of
indie/folksy stuff, the guy who sold it to me compared it to Low but
that is not really accurate, it is more in that Ida type direction
with male and female vocals and a bit darker too. (3 copies, £2.50)
______________________________

my little problem 7" - 5 songs of melancholic acousticism, that
doesn't mean it sounds like dashboard confessional you nut. no
whining, just all nice. very much in the ida ball park again here
(just with no female singers), this is really nice and again is on
stupidly thick vinyl. (2 copies, £2.50)
_______________________________

jet johnson 7" - 2 song 7" by this band which i think is connected to
billie mahonie. it's on the same label as jinx and mlp above so again
it's on mad sized vinyl, and again it fits nicely with those 2 bands.
it has a spooky, post-rock air to the proceedings. it's like aerial m
but with eery, distant female vocals. the first song is super sad
sounding, one for those with the razor precariously balanced on the
edge of their wrist. the other is instrumental. (2 copies, £2.50)
_______________________________

ckid - crashkid went there 12" - 6 tracks of blippy-bleep electronica!
i describe these real well. slightly more structured than casino vs
japan. again, it's really chilled out and super nice. has some beats.
yum. (2 copies, £4)
_______________________________

del cieto / sin desires marie - split 7" : what the heck is this?
sometimes things arrive and i have no clue why i decided to get it.
anyway, this is two bands. Sin Desires Marie play wandering Hoover
styled post-hardcore but with female vocals. pretty interesting. del
cieto do sarge / discount styled indie rock. this is another on ed
walters, i think maybe that's why i got it because they are a cool
label. (£2.50, 2 copies)
_______________________________

the jukebox scenario 7" : 400 years style emotional hardcore from
germany. on clear vinyl. (£1.50 - 1 copy)
_______________________________

little milton 7" : spazzy emo violence stuff frmo germany, wrenched
vocals and pretty off kilter. brings to mind bands like the vida blue
or off minor in some ways. rocking! i have 10 copies, eek. (£2.25, 10
copies)
_______________________________

building on fire 7" : harsh metal/hardcore/screamo attack. nicely done
packaging. (£2, 1 copy)
_______________________________

los asesinos de superficialdad 7" - dutch hardcore with an emo
influence. early recordings, liken it to amber inn mixing it up with
dag nasty and a touch of hail mary! fun. ex-office killer i think i
was told? comes with an awesome booklet with lots of politcal stuff
buy it cos their singer let me sleep on his floor without even knowing
who i was! (£2.75 - 1 copy)
_______________________________

the pine 7" - back in. gorgeous melodic emo from these boys who like
their evergreen. total homage with whiney vocals, and even a similar
name! packaging is more emo than you'll ever be! DIY emo forever! (£3
- 1 copy)
_______________________________

black merinos - s/t 7" : this is harsh, angry hardcore with very
arrrrrrrrgh! vocals. it is ex-in humanity and a few years old. if you
like harsh and angry and punishing hardcore without it being grind or
metal, you will like this i reckon! sexy silver & black packaging with
a goat motif. (£2.50 - 2 copies)
_______________________________

evergreen - bootleg 7" : 3 out of press songs on one bootlegged 7"!
stuff from the still life split and the allied comp. (£3 - 1 copy)
_______________________________

soon the darkness / parade of enemies split 7" - std do dark "gothy"
ha ha screamo stuff and parade of enemies thrash your arse off. great
split, and all in aid of 'anthony nolan bone marrow trust'. good
cause. (£2.25 1 copy)
_______________________________

semionaside / the host sepia + nimbuscloud - smart electronica split
12", the host sepia features tim from soon the darkness! no screamo
though. the host sepia + nimbuscloud side is dark, the semionaside a
bit more melodic. very cool! first order gets free host sepia 7"! (£5
- 4 copies)
_______________________________

tidal / acabah rot split 12 - tidal is crushing german emo / screamo
and acabah rot is more melodic, with keyboards. very catchy! tidal is
way better than their 10" here, this is powerful stuff. (£5.50 - 3 copies)
_______________________________

tidal 12" - and here is the full tidal lp. this is a monster of a
rocker. very varied and i think this is one of the best european
emo-screamo records for a while. (£5.50 - 3 copies)
_______________________________

walkie talkie #4 - new issue of this emo comic! drawn by nate powell
of soophie nun-squad. if anyone wants this and doesn't have issue #2,
let me know because you can have my last copy of issue #2 for 50p! (5
copies - £2)
_______________________________

little milton 7" - crazy german emo/screamo, has the energy of the
vida blue and the spazziness of a band like off minor. very good! (6
copies, £2.25)
_______________________________

beezewax - burning up in style 7" - tuneful indie pop from these
norwegians. think superchunk and the promise ring. tasty. (1 copy, £1)
_______________________________

-------------------------------

coming soon (i hope, no promises) -> mach tiver (this will fucking
rule! total mid+90's current+max colby, boy+girl, EMO+FUN),
maximillian colby, limpwrist, e150, light the fuse and run, life
detecting coffins, this robot kills, circle takes the square and other
assorted records of goodness. thankyaw!
