so my stickyfinger order has turned up, w00t! didn't even have to pay
any import duty which i was fearing big time on this one.

anyways, i hope there is something in there for everyone, there's some
good uns i reckon!

note for alex and kjetil - i have your life detecting coffins cd's put
aside.

note for a whole bunch of people - i have your rambo / crucial unit
splits, will be in touch.

love you all!

NEW, JUST LIKE NEW
******************

daughters 7" - buzz band of the minute. not quite sure why to be
honest! 1 sided 7" of 4 songs of insane metal like early Neil Perry
crossed with the Locust and a verily barrage of other emo violence
bands from 1999. has a cool quiet part. fuck knows why this is so hip!
i like it, but it's nothing new that should be creating such waves.
trendy people will want it, so i am here to help you, hipsters! (4
copies, £3)

transistor transistor / aim of conrad split 7" - crikey, t*2 are
productive. anyway, let's see. aim of conrad play rockin' punk of some
sort. it's melodic and sassy if you like that kind of thing. t*2 plays
danceable rockin' hardcore that also brings the sass but in a way i
prefer. this gets me movin'. grooves like an emo disco dancefloor
smash hit. (4 copies, 2.50)

rambo / crucial unit split 7" - two cracking hardcore bands kick out
the bike punx jams! this is well rocking and has been one of the most
popular things i have distroed to date. rambo is ex policy of 3 you
geek! (2 copies, £2.50)

max colby discog cd - ooh baby. repressed on lovitt. max colby. own
this just to hear balance and die a happy emo kid. thank you very
much. (5 copies, £7.50)

this robot kills 12" - do you remember these guys? i am in a bit of
shit if you don't. they had a slew of 7" out a few years back then
disappeared off the face of the earth. fucked up new/no wave stuff
fronted by a guy who sounds drunk. great band. (2 copies, £7.50)

circle takes the square mcd - 6 songs of multi vocalled screamy emo.
pretty aggressive and a lot going on. not as melodic as some bands
playing this sort of thing these days. very late 90's styled. maybe
fits with stuff like state secedes or closure (though not as good as
either of those), but track 4 is amazing so i am definitely keeping a
copy for myself! on a split 7" with pg99 if that helps. (4 copies, £3.50)

light the fuse and run - all your base are belong to us cd - man, they
must have had that title ready for ages and now it all seems too late.
anyway, i was interested to hear these guys as they are new to me
completely but i had heard good things about them. they play energy
packed hardcore, kind of erratic and with shouty vocals. i guess it's
in that former members of alfonsin ball park though not on the same
level but then no other bands are in that style of music. this is good
fun and i think i will rock it in the car to get me ready for work. (2
copies, £7.50)

fred weaver - those ancient skies... came sweeping wide cd - a guy
with an acoustic guitar plus a backing band at times. kind of reminds
me a bit of when ordination of aaron did acoustic stuff (not vocally
though). (1 copy £5)

STILL HERE, GATHERING DUST

*******************************
_______________________________

limpwrist 12" - raa! total hardcore from these puffs! or something!
this is fantastic and pretty cheap too. this is the version on la vida
es un mus (3 copies, £5.50)
_______________________________

e150 / zanussi split 7" - raging hardcore split 7" here from these
spanish bastards. e150 is manic thrash, and well, so is zanussi except
they are more spazzy and harsh. out of control. monster inserts and
stuff here too, very nicely done. (3 copies, £2.50)
_______________________________

ten volt shock / neighbor rosicky split 7" - had stuff in by both of
these bands before and enjoyed them a lot, especially neighbor r. they
play wandering post-hardcore that is similar to reiziger, melodic and
warm with strange vocals (more sung than i remember). ten volt shock
is dudes from kurt playing 2 songs of riff-tastic rock that is kind of
like rye coalition or hot snakes or something like that. (1 copies, £2.50)
_______________________________

crush my calm - vol 2 7" - see above! just volume 2. (1 copies, £3)
_______________________________

the cosmos / lorna split 7" - the cosmos song here is pretty different
to their cd! kind of folksie indie, very downbeat and sorta slow. dual
boy+girl vocals i think! and there is no girl on the cd. really nice.
lorna do an extremely spacey and slow number with a variety of
instruments like trumpet, piano and violin, interestin'! (1 copies, £2.50)
_______________________________

jinx 7" - 2 track single on uber thick vinyl, strange kind of
indie/folksy stuff, the guy who sold it to me compared it to Low but
that is not really accurate, it is more in that Ida type direction
with male and female vocals and a bit darker too. (1 copies, £2.50)
______________________________

little milton 7" : spazzy emo violence stuff frmo germany, wrenched
vocals and pretty off kilter. brings to mind bands like the vida blue
or off minor in some ways. rocking! i have 10 copies, eek. (£2.25, 2
copies)
_______________________________

black merinos - s/t 7" : this is harsh, angry hardcore with very
arrrrrrrrgh! vocals. it is ex-in humanity and a few years old. if you
like harsh and angry and punishing hardcore without it being grind or
metal, you will like this i reckon! sexy silver & black packaging with
a goat motif. (£2.50 - 1 copies)
_______________________________

soon the darkness / parade of enemies split 7" - std do dark "gothy"
ha ha screamo stuff and parade of enemies thrash your arse off. great
split, and all in aid of 'anthony nolan bone marrow trust'. good
cause. (£2.25 1 copy)
_______________________________

semionaside / the host sepia + nimbuscloud - smart electronica split
12", the host sepia features tim from soon the darkness! no screamo
though. the host sepia + nimbuscloud side is dark, the semionaside a
bit more melodic. very cool! first order gets free host sepia 7"! (£5
- 4 copies)
_______________________________

tidal / acabah rot split 12 - tidal is crushing german emo / screamo
and acabah rot is more melodic, with keyboards. very catchy! tidal is
way better than their 10" here, this is powerful stuff. (£5.50 - 2 copies)
_______________________________

walkie talkie #4 - new issue of this emo comic! drawn by nate powell
of soophie nun-squad. if anyone wants this and doesn't have issue #2,
let me know because you can have my last copy of issue #2 for 50p! (3
copies - £2)
