ok, i have a tonne of new stock and thought what i'd do was get a list
out before i go on holiday, and that then gives you a chance to pay
for it by the time i get back. clever eh! i am afraid that i am going
to need people to pay a lot quicker than they did in the past.

1) i don't have the space to keep your records on the floor for 2
months any more
2) i am poorer

i know i have been able to keep record back in the past, but i can't
do that so much now. please don't take advantage of my niceness!! :-)
if you can't afford to pay for a record within a week or two, then
don't order it. you will be doing me a massive favour. if you have
stuff reserved already, we'll work something out.

right, so here is my new address:

andy
2, back street
horsham st. faith
norwich
norfolk
NR10 3JP

note: i do not want payment by paypal at the moment unless you live
outside the UK. thanks.

and here is the new stock!! sorry to sound like such an ass in this
message, but hey. hopefully you'll understand. and in a few months or
so, maybe everything will calm down and my girlfriend won't mind me
covering the floor of the spare room in your orders. :-)

love lots,

andy

hello folks. here is something new i am trying. i am getting in zines.
and plenty of them. i am hoping that people will be interested in
reading some, and if they are, i will make this a regular thing, maybe
bi-monthly?

for the first week, i am going to restrict people to 5 zines each.
this is because i want to encourage as many people as possible to pick
something up, because not enough people get to read zines these days i
reckon! i know some people are like zine carnivores, they'll want 1
copy of each and if i do that, that means other people won't get a
chance and won't bother ordering zines in the future. i want to avoid
that. of course, if nobody is interested after a week or so, i will
gratefully sell people as many damn zines as they want!!! :-)

for my next order, i will start taking requests. i will mail out a
link to the site i get them from and you can let me know about a
couple of zines you are interested in. i am also happy to do zine
'subscriptions', where you give me a list of ones you like and i will
order you a copy each time a new issue is out. sound cool? i hope so!
ok, here is what i have in stock... and i will throw in a free zine of
my choice with each order. how about that!

basically, if you owe me money at the moment, please try pay me in the
next 10 days or i will have to sell your records to someone else
unless you can convince me otherwise (and i am a soft touch, as you
probably know. that's why i have so many outstanding orders in the
first place.)! sorry about this. i am moving house very soon, and will
have about £200 less disposable income a month until work gives me a
well deserved pay rise.

the distro will be massively cut back till i get this extra money
(although i presently do have a lot of stock), basically it'll be down
to one order a month, mabe two, from either stickfigure or ebullition,
plus supporting small labels / bands that i enjoy where possible. i
will have a few biggish orders coming in before that though (per koro,
stickfigure, goldenrod, new hugs lp, level plane hopefully). here are
people who i am desperate for money off (apologies if you have put the
cash in the mail in the last 2 days, or have said you will pay soon -
just make 'soon' this week please!)

tony era
matt kendall
graeme cunningham
andre buekes
stephen roe
dan macauley
iain galloway
matt meehan
alex m
mark lonsdale
briony
jane
vicky

there are several people who have smaller orders, they are:

ben
dan clarke
phil rodriguez
nick sharpe
kunal nandi

and one or two others probably, those are the ones that sprang to
mind. if you do not know what is in your order, please e-mail me and i
will get you a total! again, i apologise if you have sent or are
planning on sending cash in the next couple of days, but i am sure you
understand my predicament!! at a quick scan around my room i would say
i am owed roughly in the region of £400, have £350 of unsold stock
with approx £500 of stock en route from suppliers. so that kind of
gives you an idea as to why i need money, i am £1250 in the hole to
the distro! which as you know, is non-profit making in the first place :-)

this is the first time i have ever added up the numbers involved. it's
quite scary. please note that i am not in debt or over-drawn, i would
never do that to run the distro (that's why it has grown so slowly
over 3 years, but now i can afford to stock so much), i am financially
sound in general, but things are going to get much tighter very soon
and i want to be prepared.

so sorry to be such an arse here, but i have a large amount of
outstanding orders here, need some of that money, and pretty soon.
thanks!!

andy

hello folks, here is a brief update with a few new things. there is
more on the way soon i think - yes, a big update from stickfigure and
a life at these speeds restock and a tonne of shotmaker related
records. woo. i hope there is some stuff here to interest folks, i
understand that some people prefer to order direct from labels that
put stuff out these days due to the fear of missing out on an
uber-limited release, fair do's. i guess it's nothing new, but it
sometimes seems like people are commodifying the latest hot release
that everyone must snap up at all costs unless you *gasp* miss out on
yet another record. don't fall for the bullshit, your life won't end
if you don't own that pine 7" with a fancy cloth cover or if you have
to wait a couple of months for the gospel / kodan armada split 10"
because the label is insanely hard to get in touch with. for reals. i
will try and restock everything that is in demand as usual. that's why
i am still doing this distro after almost three years even though it
can sometimes seem like a pain when i get stuck with records that i
can't sell because i goofed up somewhere. anyways, you folks are the
kings and queens :-) (enough with the rambling already andy, hurry up
and show me the list of records so we can commodify hardcore together!)

anyway, as ever - to get stuff off this list, just reply to this
e-mail, i wil l get back to you. thanks.

hope all is well.

love,

andy x

* requests: if there is anything you want on the wholesale list at

probably get it for you (but be aware - a lot of the stuff listed is
unavailable i have found). give me a shout, but be reasonable, 2 or
3 things a person is best, and if you want to make requests i'd
prefer that also you buy a bunch of stuff that is in stock too
otherwise it's not fair on me :)

your friendly customs and excise folks sadly). still got 2 copies of
the new yaphet kotto left if you're after that. none of life at these
speeds though i'm afraid. man is that a hott record.

the life at these speeds lp is in stock now, it is £5.50 postpaid. i
will do a proper description in the next update but feel free to order
before then! simply put: DIY emo.

for anyone unfamiliar with ordering, just reply to this e-mail (or any
other distro e-mail i send out) and we'll sort things out.

cheers,

andy

hey all, ebullition stuff is in so.........

the yaphet lp is here. note, if it is the only record you order i will
wait a few days to see if anyone else wants it first because i'd
rather sell it to someone who helps this distro survive on a regular
basis than someone who wants the hip new record and nothing else.

unfortunately got hit by customs so it's all a little more expensive
than it should be. pfft.

take care,

andy
