The Sounds of Concord annual show is coming up soon - May 6th and 7th !!! a show not to miss!!
Top billing goes to
Minimum Wage – an a cappella musical comedy group that teaches their audiences the joys of working at a fast food restaurant. Described as inventive, insane and delightful, Minimum Wage is a combination of the Marx Brothers, Forever Plaid and the Flying Karamazov Brothers rolled into one. During a performance, the audience might witness a lecture on Spatula techniques that goes hilariously awry. Or a capricious, musical history lesson about the "'Histoire du le Burger." Silly, playful, funny and brilliantly inventive, Minimum Wage wows their audiences with heavenly harmonies that are balanced by a delightfully irreverent sense of humor. The Wall Street Transcript says, “Zany, nonstop entertainment with
feel-good humor and terrific singing." http://www.miniwage.com/
Also singing are:
Buzz – An absolutely fab quartet that has sung from Dortmund, Germany to Clinton Township, MI with stops in Florida and Pennsylvania. The Buzz took top honors at the Sweet Adeline’s international quartet champion competition for 2005. You have to hear them! http://www.thebuzzquartet.com/
Concord eXpress Top quartet from the Sounds of Concord chorus – these guys will make you realize you never want to eat sushi again – at least the way they do.
