<help spread the love????
but of course....
so, folks any reviews from NYE???
We'll after further listening, I thought the run was
pretty good. The 30th had its moments in the first set
(the stop-gos have been really fun since gm came on),
but the 31st was pretty tight. Even when listening
alone, away from the crowd and ear pounding sound you
get from the live experience. thats the real test.
Still trying to get used to the new McPanic sound, but
i thought new years in atlanta was george's coming out
party. that was definatly the feeling i had there. the
communication on stage, and the all the smiles.
Several times throughout the weekend DAS was very
mobile walking over to the other side of the stage,
with jb following and the three jammed togather. This
happened a few times. GM is still just a baby in the
panic evolution, so i assume he'll keep growing with
time. The acoustic set sounded really good. I can
handle george on acoustic, the SBD, was one of the
highlights. All of the new covers were played
extremely well. and the 3rd set starting with
disco>alg>pigeons was good. The transistions in and
out of chilly were some of the most seamless
transistions george has been a part of. Side note, the
big screens on the stage had Soul Train playing during
the disco, and I wish. good stuff.
Just a couple'o cents.
For those that are sending me discs, I trust that i
will soon see them re-offered to this list.
Late. Brad
