The Sofrito Radio eGroup was created as an adjunct to the Sofrito radio show on www.wrgp.org - Radiate FM - 88.1 (Miami).

The program, which aired on Sundays from 1:00 - 4:00 P.M., (and should be on the air again shortly) brought listeners a lively blend of "Ol' Skool" Salsa, Latin Jazz and Latin Soul, together with a sizeable helping of features, including interviews, our "Young Artist" of the Month event and a feature entitled "Tribute to the Masters", through which we paid tribute to the "Legends" of Latin Music. The show also included a dash of lively talk segments on topics of interest, always, though, maintaining our focus on our main course, La Musica.

Sofrito should be on the air again shortly. For those of you interested as to why it is presently not broadcasting, please refer to my most recent post (11/11/2006).
