Bingo!
Based on the text, it is (I don't have sound at the moment).
In case you ask the next question, google for "orbit downloader" :-)

btw, there's also another all time classic "Kho^ng", you might be
singing it already. Watch out, as far as I know there are more than
one song with this name.

I've used RealOrche (MIDI) long long time ago. they have a scoring
feature: http://www.karaoken et.com.br/ Musicas/
novidades/01novidad es.asp

As many others, they are far from perfect, just for entertainment. I
don't know how good it was because I never paid attention on the
score.
The best way to test a scoring system, you simply sing lalala... You
follow the rhythm and play around with your tune.

I think all PC K-players support reserve next song, basically create
a play list.

Jesse, have you been able to track down Nang Chieu? If not, I can
give you a MIDI-Kar version, of course no vocal, i.e. either you have
to find an audio CD or a good friend to teach you. You also have to
convert it to CD compatible format. Otherwise you have to rely on
your PC.

I'm asking for a technical solution. The process of manual deleting
of a message has been running for 7 years. Thanks for the suggestion
anyway :-)

Approving a message has to be done on regular basis which I can't
offer. There will be angry members complaining that their messages
take too much time to appear in the group.

I'm very sorry that I'm not able to set up an alarm to wake me up
middle of the night to delete a silly message.

Certainly, there are much better moderators managing better groups.
But that's what I can offer.

Every moderator has a "real" life. They have to go out to make their
living on weekdays. They have to go out on weekend to enjoy life, e.g.
singing karaoke. Sometimes they are on holidays and they don't want to
know anything about internet. They also have other hobbies and looking
after other websites and forums.

So be patient, I'm doing what I can. Simply ignore the message you
don't want to read (as stated in the forum description.

All it takes a a moderator to have a look for these silly messages and
either delete the person or place themon moderation so their messages
need to be approved.

Not sure if this is moderated

Yes thank you very much but this is a Karaoke group. If anything was
free then there would be no shops and if anyone believes this they
they are silly. Yahoo groups are the main target for this stupid
message which you see from so many different user names. Yahoo groups
are a target as it a free mailing list already set up by people opting in.

Are there any mods here to stop this.

Sorry, I'm not strong in English. So, I looked up wiki: In phonetics,
a vowel is a sound in spoken language.
"uoi" 3 vowels written, but only 1 spoken. Just like in English, e.g.
"out" and "round". Of course, English is not written as spoken.

In many other languages, a combination of (written) vowels define a
new sound. For instance, if you say "out" I have to know (learn) that
vowel is written with "ou". In Vietnamese, you can write any spoken
word (correctly) without having seen it before. You can learn e.g.
"uoi" as it sounds. But if you learn the rules how to result that
single sound from those 3 letters you will be able to read or sing
(just to force this back to topic) :-) any word. You have to ask a
Vietnamese to teach you pronounce words. I'm not talking about
speaking out the word, but the way to associate the vowels. It's fun
and sound like singing :-)

So does that mean words like xoa and nguoi have one vowel.  I mean in English
that would be 2 vowels together and 3 vowels.  I think the hardest thing to get
used to is the ng sound but I am getting really good now.  It took me awhile to
get nguoi.

It will maximal take a day for them to learn because you write as you
speak and each word has only one vowel.

Here are the song lists of 2 MIDI karaoke players:

MIDI karaoke player is not very useful for you because you need a CD
in order to listen to the vocal. Anyway, it can give you an idea of
the popular karaoke songs.

I asked for Nang Chieu the guy told me that was movie.  By the time I
bought 2 other Vietnamese Karaoke DVDs and I figured I would check
back once I learn the songs I have.  I am amazed at how quickly I can
learn now because it took about 3 - 4 before I could start reading

who can help me with Vietnamese.  I am learning so much from doing
this.  I was surprised to hear some people in their 20's and 30's
speaking it but several have said they can't read it.  I was
surprised and it was impressive to many of the people at the Karaoke

right around the block from my house and it was a good place for me
to practice some English songs but I had to go further to go to an
all English Karaoke bar.  I noticed I got occasional applause for the
English and at some point I told myself I need to learn this.  It's
gone over way better than expected and now I mostly sing Vietnames
songs when I go even though now I only know about 5 or 6 songs.  I
thank you again for your thoughtful and thorough answer on Yahoo

I've suggested some in yahoo Q&A. I assume that you have read that.

Good luck

the question. I began learning to sing Vietnamese songs at the end of
