Still no response from Ms. Greuel but we have to keep sending letters to her
and the Mayor. I know it will work if we stay focused. We can not move
forward without her pro-active support. I do hope I explained that clearly
in my last email to you regarding Ms. Greuel's reply letter that many of you
received.

I have spent a lot of time talking to people with the City. You'd be
surprised at some of the things they told me. The following is additional
information that you all should know. Perhaps we can approach our struggle
from this angle as well.

When I originally read the Kulak's Woodshed variance we were granted , I
discovered some very glaring contradictory language. It basically said that
we are within our right to be in this location. I wanted to address the
issue but decided it would be better to move on and leave well enough alone.
That is a decision I deeply regret.

The following are statements in the variance written by the Zoning
Administration.

-"The use (Kulak's Woodshed) has the characteristics of various clearly
identifiable permitted uses in the underlying permitted C1.5 Zone" (the
Woodshed is located in a C1.5 zone)
-"For example, an auditorium and a concert hall with a maximum seating
capacity for 3,000 persons are permitted uses in the C1.5 Zone which
involves live music performances with an audience."
-"Thus the use clearly fits within the parameters of these similarly
permitted uses in the C1.5 Zone.

It is clear that we never should have been required to apply for a variance.
We need to demand that the variance be dismissed and call for an independent
third party investigation to determine the truth about Peyton's claims.
There is no parking problem, and the more we can prove that Peyton's
accusations are false the better the chance we have of succeeding. We need
Wendy Greuel's to help us with pro-active support. PLEASE, keep sending
those emails, letters and make those phone calls.
