Peyton's attempt to win a restraining order against me, the Woodshed and all of you was a train wreck. After just a few minutes in front of the judge Peyton's request was tossed out. Our attorney Andy Rigrod is once again the hero of the day? week? year?
The two Restraining/Stay Away orders we won against Peyton in the summer of '05 stand.
Still no news from the City yet on the upcoming Zoning hearing so we can't bring in the acoustic sound engineer yet to determine how much (if any since we're not a rock club like the Whisky Bar.) sound insulation is needed for the walls.
There are no other remaining construction issues. The building requirements were all completed in the spring of 2004. Yes, the year Two Thousand Four, nearly 3 years ago, that's how long Peyton has held us up.
But as of today things looks good for us but we still have a ways to go. Until the City gives us our Occupancy Permit everything is still up in the air.
My thanks once again to all of you (thousands I'm told) who wrote wrote letters to Wendy Greuel. YOU are the reason we're still open today !!!
Celebrate !!!
