Hi All

Happy New Year!

January can traditionally be a quiet time for new releases, but 2007
looks to have started as it may well continue with some of the best
new music we've heard for a while - and from some interesting parts
of the world! Your current discount code is ECWGB41, which gets
you 11% off everything on the site until the end of the month.

Our latest artists of the week are Tasmanian band The Third Ending,
who have their self-titled debut album released later in January.
We are so confident that you will love this band - who blend the
song-orientated prog of Morse era Spocks Beard, with the slightly
more indie-inspired music of Porcupine Tree - that we are offering a
pre-order price of £8.99 as an added incentive.

There's plenty of other good stuff due in the next few weeks - with
US band Puppet Show due to release their long awaited second album
Tale of Woe. This is great stuff - solid, intricate prog in the US
style with great vocals and intricate, aggressive instrumentation.
Preordering now and due in the next couple of weeks at £9.99.

We can also recommend the debut album / DVD Audio Diplomacy from
Fromuz - an superb, tight, accessible instrumental prog / fusion
band from Uzbekistan. Again, at £9.99 the album is well worth a
punt, and will please fans of Frogg Cafe, Bruford and Steve Hackett.

Two rather more established bands have interesting releases out at
the end of January. Swedish prog-metallers Pain of Salvation
release their new album Scarsick on 22nd January. As usual, it's a
concept album, but this time Daniel Gildenlow tackles rather more
direct lyrical material than previously. Expect plenty of
instrumental variation as usual. £12.99

Saga finally release their double DVD and double CD sets Worlds
Apart Revisited on January 29th at £17.99 and £13.99 respectively.
This live concert from Switzerland features an entire performance of
their classic album Worlds Apart, and should show the Canadian band
at their very best.

As it's "that time of the year" don't forget we have plenty of items
in our Special Offers section.

That's all for now - coming soon, amongst others, new Neal Morse and
Starcastle!

Best wishes

Stephen
