Greetings! This discussion group is about space synth music. Space synth music was born in the mid-80s when italodisco and synthpop was very popular. It's mostly instrumental and has strong melodies and driving basslines. Space synth music can't be considered as a subgenre of techno because it's based on melodies instead of rhythm.

Let's discuss bands/artists like Laserdance,
Koto, Proxyon, Daylight, Cyber People, Rygar, Syntech, Michiel van der Kuy, Trilithon, Hypnosis and also the revival of space synth music.

So, join in and share you opinions, memories and thoughts. All synthesizer dance fans are welcome!
