Anyone ever experiment with swapping out the stock tube that comes in a
Speakeasy Classic Preamp with a 12AX7? If so, how did it change the overdirve
sound? Good...Bad...etc.?

GREAT overdrive, but it does not clean up: so you can't go from Smooth n Silky to Mean n Nasty, it's just Deep Purple all the time. "The meek shall inherit...
