Does that trick work for any flashbased video? Never knew that.

Vimeo is a Flash based video site and, so far as I can see, the play
button is only within the flash widget itself which is, I guess, a
black box to your screenreader.

However if you add ?autoplay=1 (that's "question mark autoplay equals
1") to the end of a Vimeo video page URL it will autoplay for you, so
in this case you want:

http://vimeo. <http://vimeo.com/7559518?autoplay=1> com/7559518?autoplay=1

Regards.

Matt

YES! Changing screensets is now fast. I'm over the moon.

Previously it was quite slow, and I was thinking about buying extra
monitor(s) to avoid switching too much. Now I guess I can spend the money
on trilian instead ;-))

Hi, I'm new here!

I have a problem...I was aggregating sounds for my next project and I tagged
them all "FF", an abbreviation for my project. Bad idea. When I search for FF,
I'm of course getting anything that has FF in the name/tag/etc so I get far more
than the ones I tagged. Is there any way to search for tag only? Is there a way
I can safely rename my FF tag so that all the ones I tagged will have new name?
Any other suggestions? Thanks!

Thank you Darren
Thats a patch that i made by stacking the Chapman Stick sustains with the
Laboriel 8 String bass.
I applied a bit of FM and filter and some effects.
Makes a great polysound.
Actually i am having a ball right now making all kinds of nonbass sounds with
Trilian.
Sofar thats the only part that i found was kinda lacking from the corelibrary.
No shortage of great bass sounds for sure!

Hi hans.

Thanks for uploading those.

I absolutely love the all feet must dance track, stunningly good.

What's doing the chimey piano type sound that runs all the way through it,
that's beautiful.

yep-thats the Jaco.
Still my favourite fretless sample out there. Nothing else comes close.
That said-i do like the new Fretless Expressivo in Trilian that was made out of
the classic Marcus Miller Bass Legends samples.

And thanks for your kind words of course!

Oh, by the way, jBridge is a windows application which allows 64 bit plugins to
be run in a 32 bit sequencer and vice versa, without memory limitations other
than the built in RAM of your computer. That way I can run a full symphonic
orchestra with keyswitched instruments using the 64 bit Play plugin in Sibelius
(which is a 32 bit application).

No, I'm on a PC - a laptop custom built by PC Audiolabs (windows vista 64 bit
ultimate, Core i7 processor, 6 GB RAM (expandable to 12 GB), three hard drives
with 500 GB each of which two are set up in 0 Raid array which store all VSTs,
everything by Eastwest, Komplete 6, etc).

If you mean the new 1.1.3 release I noticed it seemed a bit snappier
although I couldn't be sure it wasn't my imagination.

On the other hand I seem to notice my Logic CPU monitor redlining a
little more frequently now although, again, I can't be sure.

Hi Robert--

It comes down to how complicated your needs are. I am running an iMac
(24"..3.06GHz) with 4GB of RAM and and an additional monitor. I also have about
4TB of external drives connected via Firewire. I regularly work in projects
(with effects) of 24-48 tracks with NO issues with maxing out the machine. I
normally run Logic, Ableton, and Reason simultaneously without even a hiccup. In
addition, I use soft synths exclusively (Komplete 5 from NI, the built in Logic
stuff and a few others) The new 27" with the i9 processor would probably be more
than you need. It isn't out yet, but watch for the reviews, it seems pretty
compelling.

That said, if you need expansion (hard drives), multiple firewire buses (you
will need to add an additional card), you should look at the Mac Pro. In the
past I always purchased the Mac Pro (or it's equivalent..it wasn't always named
that) and I found that for my needs: the iMac is more than sufficient.

Good luck!

Until today, I was a die-hard PC/Sonar fanatic. With the release of Trilian and

inspiring. I had to sale my axiom 49 because of 64-bit issues. The buyer of said

out of the way, I would like to run Logic Pro, Omnisphere, Stylus and Trilian on

Is it my imagination or is Omnisphere v1.1 much faster in every way?

When I audition sounds, they seems to load much faster (and no, I
don't have the "lite" button on).

Previously, changing screensets in Logic to one that had Omnisphere
open was rather slow - now it's just there - boom!

What a difference.
Thanks to Eric and the team for making the best even better.......

Vimeo is a Flash based video site and, so far as I can see, the play
button is only within the flash widget itself which is, I guess, a
   black box to your screenreader.

However if you add ?autoplay=1 (that's "question mark autoplay equals
1") to the end of a Vimeo video page URL it will autoplay for you, so
   in this case you want:

   http://vimeo.com/7559518?autoplay=1

   Regards.

Hi.

Please excuse my ignorence, but I don't know how to get to play the file?

It doesn't play automatically and there's no indication of a play button.

There's a download original file link, but you have to sign up to gett that.

is that the correct way?

Keep in mind that I'm blind and use a screen reader to access websites, so there
may be something on the page that isn't being spoken.

Cheers
Darren

For anyone interested how these can sound i made a couple of patches and
arranged them to form a short tune.

   http://vimeo.com/7559518

Everything in this clip is coming from a single Trilian with all 8 parts fully
loaded.
The percussion is the Martin FX Noise Soundsource run thru some Trilian
effects to make it sound like a bunch of stepdancers thru a kitchen radio.

Definitely check out Digital Performer as well. I don't know Sonar, but DP and
Logic come from different approaches. If Logic isn't your thing maybe DP is. DP7
runs great on a MacPro 8-core ;-)

Thanks Derrick,

I really needed the encouragement.not the "well there's a learning curve,

the praise and be vessels through which He flows. Thank you for the
encouragement and may God bless you.

Get the best one you can afford! Hey we're brothers in arms... I converted
to mac/logic from sonar too! Im using Logic express though. I actually

What is jBridge? Are you on a Mac? I assume you are.

I got it figured out I believe -

1. The multi I had saved is stored in the folder 'User' which can be
accessed by clicking on the multi tab at the top of the Omnisphere
interface. After loading it, the two patches show up in channels 1 and 2,
respectively.

2. In Sibelius I assigned two staves to Omnisphere, one of them to channel
1, the other to channel 2. You can add up to 8 channels in Omnisphere if I
am correct.

3. The scores plays back fine (one staff playing back one patch, the other
staff the other patch).

I noticed, by the way, that Omnisphere only worked in Sibelius through
jBridge (I am talking about the 32 bit version by the way). Plugging the VST
in directly gives strange effects (cannot load patches, only one buzzy type
of sound plays back). Not sure what the situation is with the 64 bit
version, haven't installed that yet.

Interesting-64 Bit is the onething where Windows has some clear advantages at
the moment simply due to the fact that there are at least two major hosts(Sonar
and Cubase) that run in 64 bit.
With Logic you can only access a 32 bit memory space and need something like VSL
Ensemble pro to access additional RAM.
Also Sonar and Logic are quite different so prepare yourself to start from
scratch again.

It certainly works well. But if your experience is with Windows, there's
alot to be said for sticking with what you know.

In terms of current Macs, any current model will run that stuff fine.
