SPORTY'S VIEW ON J LO

UK (TOP OF THE POPS) - Fresh from her lambasting of
Westlife, Posh Spice's break into America, modern
music, floppy biscuits and anything else that rankles
her, Sporty Spice Melanie C has laid into J Lo and her
new single.

Melanie got stuck into the Latino lovely while at this
week's TOTP recording, claiming that she found her
'irritating', and reckons she's better off in the
movies. J Lo releases her latest single 'I'm Glad' on
Monday, but Melanie reckons she'd be glad to see the
back of it.

Summoning all the enthusiasm of Will Young on the next
Pop Idol tour, Melanie said: "I'm not the biggest J Lo
fan. I think she's a great actress and she's very
beautiful. I think some of her songs have been good,
but she's starting to sound very samey and I find her
quite irritating," added Melanie.
