Capricho is a brazilian teen magazine and Mel C is in the new issue I copy
the questions:

Capricho - In a research to a brazilian paper the Spice Girls were in the
top of a list of names that the public would like to see in Rock in Rio 3 (
they were the best voted group). Why wont u guys be there in january?

Mel C -Wow! Good to know it. I know it seems crazy that we wont be playing
there but we have lots of things to do. We have just realesed our record
and each of us have your own solo carrer so we must be careful!

Capricho - You have always been considered the best Spice Girl. What do u
think about that?

Mel C - Is wonderful to hear that, but the other girls have a lot to show
too. I think the different is because I'm the one who treats music
seriously.

Capricho- And what about the story that u said the Spice Girls were over?

Mel C- I'm very honest in interviews. I said that i'm not happy with the
reaction of the public. When we're together everybody go crazy and i dont
like when thing are in a mess! But i love the group, i love being in the
group I just don't like this hole mess around us. Spice will go on.

Capricho - Which bands are u listening to in the moment?

Mel C -I heard today Pink, Eminem, Stevie Wonder and Beatles' new CD the
kings of pop. I like red hot chili peppers. My CD collection is weird.

Capricho _ And about the fight against westlife?

Mel C - British press loves to create fights between artists. Actually,i
don't like their music but the guys are ok. I called them to make
everything clear.

Capricho_ U have 26 today. How was grew up in public?

Mel C - When I was younger, i didnt know how to deal with so much pressure.
I used to think that i had to be what people want me to be. i used to go to
the gym and stay there for hours coz i thought i had to be very thin. I
just stopped! I have a healthy life and it's ok! I'm finding who i was
before the Spice Girls.

Capricho - Why all of a sudden you decided to tell everyone u were
depressive?

Mel C -To be honest, it wasnt a decision. Tabloids wrote that i was taking
medicine i just reacted. In england people think that who have depression
is nut. I wanted to tell that things are not like that.

Capricho- Happened the same with your weight?

Mel C _ I'm a victim of british press which is pretty rude. I used to think
that i should be thin but i realised that the problem was the media, not
mine. u could read everywhere that i was fat and at the same time u could
read about another celebrity very thin. It's unfair, irresponsable. There
are girls who follow these articles

Capricho - How does your heart go?

Mel C - I have a new boyfriend, i'm happy. He plays in a new band call
TomCats. We have been together for a while.

Capricho - And your plans for next year?

Mel C- This year was great for my carrer, but really tough in other ways. I
want the next year to be better. In october i want to record my new album.
I wanna be happy, live life like a crazy girl and go for my solo and my
group!
