Hey, I pretty much agree with everything you said.
I mean, at least someone's posting here. I don't get it because
there are quite a few members in this group. I mean, I moderate
a Ted Nugent list & it's CONSTANTLY busy.

type thing, ya know?) I guess SRV fans here are different. I've
been on a couple of big SRV lists & most people are either too
quiet and/or stuck up. OR, the moderators insist on havin' tight
rules as to topics or whatever.
....i know what u mean.. i avoid those lists..

It's too bad because Stevie wouldn't have put up with ANY of
that shit.
....actually he wouldnt care.. he was very laid back..
i knew him very very well.. saw him live over 100x
and have 1000s and 1000s of pics of him on and off
stage.. i kinda toured with him but not on a pro level.
just as a fan but i got into a lot of gigs free and or
easily. i cant think of any show on the east coast
that i didnt see from 81 on.. but mostly 83-90..
and i have a huge collection of tapes audio and
video as well.. and i was hoping that there would be
people here who would be into trading..
and those who couldnt.. would buy.. i got a few
people here who have gotten a few.. but not many
since the people here are kinda dead.
Anyway, THIS LIST IS FREE & OPEN (I know that because my wife
is the moderator)...but ya can't FORCE folks to talk, now can
ya?
....u can try.. i run a list of concert_videotapes and i get less
mail on that one than this one.. haha..
and there are 120 people on that one. and its several years
old.
Man, most of ya wouldn't last a minute on my NUGE list. (You'd
be scramblin' to unsubscribe.)
....wow.. that much mail huh.. i have been on lists that are so
huge that theres way too much mail..
im on one list that doesnt allow postings by subscribers but
there are 325000 members.. can u imagine???
the owner charges for ads .. but i cant afford those rates..
it would mean some serious sales tho im sure..
Oh well, that's my two cents worth.
....and it was well worth five.. lol
