Hi, I'm John Wrapp,
I'm a Bassist living in Royal Oak, MI, available for live gigs and
recording.
I use a 1967 Fender P-Bass and a Hartke Amp and have reliable
transportation.
One of my recent recordings is the latest disc by Luther "Badman"
Keith, which was nominated for 2 Detroit Music Awards.

I spent a few years in Nashville backing a variety of
singer/songwriters.
I am versed in most musical styles but prefer blues, funk, classic
rock, jazz, and country.
I have performed, toured and recorded with a variety of groups in
the past, including:
ุ Instant Blue
ุ T-Bone Pepper
ุ 2nd Hand Blues Band
ุ Ray Ward & Bluezone
ุ Luther Keith
ุ Blues Life
ุ The Naturals
ุ Motherlode
ุ Memphis James
ุ Los Koonass
ุ Freddie Scott & Tropicool
ุ Miller Sisters
ุ Johnny Yard Dog Jones
and I have subbed regularly with a variety of other fine bands.
I have over 30 plus years experience on the bass (do the math if
age is an issue). Age, gender, and race are not an issue with me.
I can also fill in on vocals and guitar, but Bass is my main
instrument!
I sing some of the older blues, R & B, and 60's 70's era rock with
a blues flavor. I'm not a front person, but I can sing a few tunes a
set if needed.
I'm looking for a band or individuals that want to have fun, gig
often as well as practice at least once or twice a week.
A group of folks who are afraid to step outside of the box and mix
it up to come up with something fresh. No Boundaries!
I do this on a professional level and expect you do as well.
I am available to travel.
I have a demo CD of me with various groups that I could send you, if
you'd like one, let me know.
You can reach me by phone at (248) 227-0033 or email

Thanks!
John Wrapp
