I agree. The lyrics were what caught me on SW, and what kept me.
Lyrically, I would say they are the best band I have ever heard. Not to
mention the vocals, which could get me going for longer than I should.
Personally I think this album sounds like they have come full circle, and
are opening up to new styles that they may not have felt comfortable with
expressing before because it wasn't what their fans were used to.
I really like the new album, is it my favorite? No.
The point, for me, is that it is Stabbing Westward. They have always been a
creative band, why should that stop because we are used to their first
creations?
Just a couple of my opinions...
