When I was nine years old, my older brother played an album that
totally blew me away. It was "The Feeding of the 5000". The only
music that was in the charts at the time was shit like Abba and
Brotherhood of Man, so you can imagine the impact that this record
had. Well I'm 33 now and still have all the Crass music on vynal, in
the original poster bags. I have now started to get it all on CD. I
still play it loud as fuck whenever I'm in a shit mood or if I'm
getting ready to go out for the night. Crass music played a major
part in my growing up and for that I thank them. I also think that
they have written some of the best songs. I wish people would just
take a bit of time to read some of them instead of writing the band
off as "just another incoherent punk band"
So, before I go, REMEMBER...... Learn the words, play it LOUD and
sing your fucking heart out !!!!!!!!

... Yeah... they're often written up in 'punk history' as not being exactly musically developed, and perhaps they weren't, but that doesn't stop loads of...

Funny i always thought they were quite musically developed. but many in the traditional music genre's probably wouldn't think so. I'd say they were ahead of...
