Well, that was a coincidence!
I hope those who had posted to me (thinking I was the seller) reads this, and
tries to get in contact with Steve Klein instead. How that will work out,
though. Ok, 3 times that of a mint condition bf-96 at e-bay... hmmm... let's
see...calculating...at least - if not quite a bit over - five digits in dollars!
.. is the local casino open tonight?
... horse races next saturday...?
;-)
Nevertheless, thank you for replying fast. Now, we got it, and all details. I
remember Hedges had a STARR SWITCH on his Klein Harp guitar, I looked at the
cover of GP from 1990, yesterday, and thought that was ver peculiar.
Thank you anyway, for sorting this out.
/Mats
PS. Klein hyped selling one of his electric guitars a couple of years back,
gearing towards museums, well off collectors, institutions, it was his model
with a bird wing on it, or something. Looked quite kitsch if you'd ask me, and
the asking price was quite extortionate. Not an auction, but one of those
things, you have to go together, merging with others to make it happen. You know
Hard Rock Café chains and so on.

I was the one who posted that comment. It was true at the time. That seemed like
quite a while ago though. My professor who was very close to Michael is also
pals with Steve Klein, who gave him first shot at it, then he passed the
information to me figuring I may be interested. As far as I know Steve still has
it. I don't feel like I'm at liberty to talk about it or it's price publicly
since this was a while ago and I don't know what it's status is. You can assume
it would be at least three times what it would cost to find a regular mint
condition bf-96 nowadays for. I'd get in touch with Klein himself if interested.
