Yup, I'll be at Snuffy's in Hutto this Saturday night, May 17.
Hutto's no haven for hippies, but it is for hippos, and I'll be playing
just down the road from the world's largest. I'm told it has something
to do with animals that escaped from a circus many decades ago.
With me will be the vibrant voice and firey fiddle of Mandy Mercier,
helping me do The Bluebonnet Waltz the way it was always meant to
sound, and much more.
SATURDAY, MAY !&, 8:30 p.m to 12:30 a.m.
STEVE BROOKS with MANDY MERCIER
SNUFFY'S, 204 Hwy. 79, Hutto, (512) 759-4504
DIRECTIONS: Take Hwy. 79 east from Round Rock. After 10 miles, you
get to Hutto. Snuffy's is on the left, not far inside the city limit
sign.
BTW, if you'd like to express support for the Killer D's - the 53
Democratic State Reps who are camped out in Oklahoma to save Austin's
seat in Congress - there's an easy way. You can send emails to Reps Jim
Dunnam and Garnet Coleman, the ringleaders, asking them to convey your
support to all who are with them in Ardmore. Here are the links to
these two representative's home pages
