After 18 days away from newspapers, out at the Kerrville Folk
Festival, I hear they still haven't found any weapons of mass
destruction in Iraq. Oops! But while you're pondering a conspiracy to
trick the American public into war, you can hear a musical conspiracy
this Saturday. I'll be joining three of my fellow Austin Conspirators
to put on a showcase at one of Austin's classic acoustic rooms: the
Waterloo Ice House at 6th and Lamar. You get to hear me, Steve Hopkins,
Paul Sanchez and new girl on the block Abi Tapia. Four songwriters for
a $5 cover - you can't beat that for an Austin Saturday night. See
