Doing a suppertime show hosted by Jim Stricklan on Tuesday, June 24,
7:30 to 10 at Hill's Cafe, 4700 South Congress, between Ben White and
Stassney. With us will be Paula Foy, David Romero, Larry Rothwell and
Doug Taylor. I'll be playing my own set (at whatever time I have the
most fans there) and backing up Jim on harp and tinwhistle. Hill's beer
garden is a breezy spot on a summer's eve, and the Stateman just rated
their burger the best in Austin.
You can put on your calendar that my next Austin show will be Sat.,
July 12, at B.B. Rover's Pub, 12626 Research Blvd, home of Austin's
best beer list.
