I'm back from a grand week at the Grand Canyon. Don't have any club dates in Austin this month, but I want to invite y'all to the third edition of the monthly Peace Open Mike, which I co-host with Lisa Rogers. Appropriately enough, it will be on Mother's Day. We welcome anyone with something to perform: musicians, poets, puppeteers, you name it. If you've been following the latest stomach-turning news from Iraq, and you have something to get off your chest, come join us. If you just want to get inspired and know that you're not alone, come join us.
