Okay, I'm double-proofreading this one. Common Grounds is a little off the beaten track - about five miles west of I-35, through a seemingly endless parade of subdivisions, suddenly a big shopping center springs out of the prairie on your left. The coffeehouse is tucked away to the left of the Albertson's, with comfy couches, coffee, desserts. Been playing a ton of bar gigs lately, so this show, I'll be letting out my mellow, poetic side. But if you voted for me at MTM, I'll still play ya Margaritaville...Next Austin-area show will be Feb. 12, when I return to B.B. Rover's, the house of a hundred beers.
