It's been a lovely couple of weeks here in Florida, with no
hurricanes on the horizon. I'll be back in Texas with a bang this
weekend, playing at the soon-to-be legendary Bugle Boy in historic La
Grange. It's a former army barracks (wonder where those soldier boys
recreated while hanging out in La Grange, wink, wink) converted into an
espresso bar and one of the finest listening rooms in Central Texas, a
new stop on the Kerrvert circuit. If you make reservations at least a
day ahead, you can get in on the jambalaya feast before the concert.
