A lot of y'all on my list probably know Slim Richie and Francie, a.k.a.
Meaux Jeaux, so I'm spreading the word about their unhappy holiday. For
those who don't, they're one of the finest musical couples in Central Texas,
and Slim knows more chords than there are stars in the Terlingua sky. The
good news is that they and most of their instruments survived. They don't
know what kind of help they need yet, but I'm sure some kick-ass benefit
concerts are in the offing. I'll keep you posted.
