Yup, it's my good fortune to get to play Austin every Friday night, and your good fortune to come and listen. We witnessed a bit of misfortune after last week's gig. A horse-drawn carriage overturned on Guadalupe, and we caught the rare sight of a horse galloping towards the river. Reports are that the driver was in good condition. Who knows what the 13th may hold - besides good songs and good beer?
If you have any friends around Llano or Mason, you can pass this note along - I'll be playing Saturday night at the legendary Keller's Riverside Store, where they sing along to the "Castell Rooster Blues."
