Folksinger seeks housemate to share sunny 3-1 house near Ben White/Manchaca, 5 minutes from Central Market, 10 minutes from Barton Creek Greenbelt. Quiet residential street. Includes use of washer/dryer, all kitchen appliances and BBQ pit. All utilities paid except telephone. The room is wired for a separate phone line and can be hooked up to my DSL service. The shady back deck is great for watching the wild birds that come to my feeders and the wildflowers that grace my yard in the spring.

More about me: I generally work at home during the day. I periodically go on tour for a week or two, and every June, I disappear for three weeks to the Kerrville Folk Festival. I’m politically liberal and a Unitarian. I get along best with folks who like good conversation, good books and good Texas music. No pets (I’m allergic), no smoking indoors, smoking okay outside. I don’t have a TV, but it’s fine to have one in your room. I’m not a neat freak, but I try to keep common areas tidy and not leave dirty dishes in the sink.
