Speaking of MLK Day, I'd like to share a personal tradition. Every year, on this day, I make it a point to reread Dr. King's "Letter from a Birmingham Jail." To my mind, it's the greatest statement of the American Dream since the Gettysburg Address. It reminds me that I don't always live up to my ideals, but it always inspires me to keep trying.
