Snuffy's, that classic Texas saloon full of dollar bills stapled to the ceiling, has moved to a new and bigger location south of Hutto, complete with restaurant and dancehall. Me, Paula Held and Seymour Guenther are helping to kick off the new location with a last-minute show this Saturday night. If you're up on the north end of town, you can join us out in the country.
And if you're down in beautiful South Austin, you can head to Artz Rib House next Thursday, the night after Valentine's Day. Paula will be headlining, and yours truly will be slinging guitar.
Thanks to those of you who let me know you saw me on TX or in the Daily Texan's coverage of the memorial vigil for Molly Ivins at City Hall last Thursday. From now on, when I'm seeking guidance from my higher power, I'll be asking myself the question: What Would Molly Do?
