First of all, my deepest thanks to all of you who have sent condolences about the untimely death of my brother Chris. He was the last of my birth family, but I've been overwhelmed by the love and support I've gotten from my extended family here in Austin. Music, friends and Texas highways are the best therapy I know, and I'm grateful for all three.
My sense of humor is starting to reassert itself, as I emerge into the world of music and the world of puns. This Saturday, I'll be backing fellow Crabby Grass Boy Alton Rex at B.B. Rover's. Next weekend, I'll be emceeing the 30th annual O.Henry Pun-Off and a fundraising roast the night before. Be there or be sane.
