Dance Band gig in Hutto this Saturday   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #250 of 326 |
Thanks to all who helped me through the memorial for Chris. Mother Nature and Wile E. Coyote did their parts to make it unforgettable, and the rainbow at the end was a nice touch.
Time now to loosen up a bit and go honky-tonkin'. Which is what I'll be doing this Saturday night up in Hutto, with Paula and her band. No navel-gazing singer-songwriter stuff - just straight-ahead Texas dance music. Pull on your boots, have a few Shiners and scoot the night away. The weather should be a bit nicer than our last Snuffy's gig, which was cancelled on account of ice storm.

From Austin: Take 290 East to Manor. Just past Manor, turn left on state highway 973. Go 12 miles to Rice's Crossing and turn left on state highway 1660. Go 2 miles. At Norman's Crossing, just past highway 3349 on the right, turn left on county rd. 129. Snuffy's is 1 mile on the left. Look for the Dr. Pepper sign. The big sign says "Brushy Creek Inn," but a smaller sign sez "Snuffy's."
