Late-breaking Show: Downtown Farmer's Market this Saturday, and Musi   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #263 of 326 |
If you're out and about this Saturday morning, I will be serenading the Downtown Farmer's Market from noon to 1. While you're scarfing up homegrown tomatoes, natural beef and other goodies, I'll be singing songs of the season - well, not your usual Xmas carols - but everything from Robert Earl Keen to The Grinch. It's also a lovely place to get breakfast and coffee, sit down at a table and listen.
While we're on the subject of Xmas, want to spice up your holiday party with something more than cinnamon and cloves? Serve up some Austin music next to the wassail and egg nog. Local folksinger Steve Brooks is available for hire this holiday season with a vast repertoire of Xmas songs, ranging all the way from traditional carols to Elvis and The Grinch. Not to mention songs about love, war and keepin' it weird. Depending on your needs and budget, he can play solo or as a duo or trio with Brooks & Held. For more information and rates, contact Steve at 440-7668 or steve@.... To listen to a selection of Steve's (non-holiday) music, stop by www.stevebrooks.net.

Hoppy Holidays,
Steve
