The egg nog and the champagne have been stashed for another year, and it's back to work for this musician. I'll be out bright and early this Saturday at the number one shopping spot in South Austin: the Sunset Valley Farmer's Market, where you can buy local meats, fruits and veggies while listening to homegrown music. Can't think of a more enjoyable way to reduce your carbon footprint. I'll be there from 9 in the morning until they pack up the tents at 1 in the afternoon. Joining me for part of the morning will be special guests Paula Held and Dave Hooper.
I'll have plenty of of news for y'all in the new year. I'm starting to audition producers for my first studio album in a dozen years, and I'll be releasing a homegrown CD of previously unrecorded favorites to help fund the studio album. If you've got a song you've been dying to get on your car stereo or your iPod, I welcome your requests. Oh, and I'm checking into rumors there's going to be an election this year...
Peace through Music,
Steve
