Wed. Nite: Political Songs with The Therapy Sisters & More   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #274 of 325 |
I'm on the last weekend of my summer tour, which has been about the
smoothest and most profitable I can remember. I just came off two days
at the Woody Guthrie Folk Fest in Woody's hometown of Okemah, Oklahoma
and have my last gig Sunday morning at the Unitarian church in Lawton.
But I'm writing to let you know about my first gig back in town.

For those of you who are political junkies (like me): you'll be in hog
heaven Wed. nite at The Hideout. The occasion is Netroots Nation, a
nationwide convention of progressive bloggers. They're meeting here in
Austin, and I'll be joining forces with The Therapy Sisters and Jan
Seides to welcome them with a Wed. night concert. Details below.

I've never been to Heaven, but I've been to Oklahoma
